"How to Intelligently Network Online"
Zoominfo (o4/03/07) Steckerl, Shally
To enhance marketing efforts and generate more leads, associations should consider online networking via email. The Internet makes it easy to quickly get their messages out to a greater number of people, but they must be willing to put in the time necessary for online networking to be successful. Shally Steckerl of JobMachine.net recommends sending an initial email to three or more new contacts every day, providing more information than they could over the phone. A follow up voice mail and a final confirmation email boost the chances of getting a response. Steckerl also underscores the importance of answering every email they receive within 24 hours to 48 hours, making files of standard responses to copy and paste into emails to save time.
